This Safe Surgery Saves Lives initiative cores on a single-page safety checklist, presented in a 170 pages document having 4 main components: Surgical Site Infection Prevention, Safe Anaesthesia, Safe Surgical Teams, and Measurement of Surgical Care and Quality Assurance Mechanisms.
